my friend at the post office calls me “yarny”, it’s OK, I call her “sparky”.  She been working there too long.  Although I can knit, it is not my true avocation, that would be woodworking.  By education and career I am a chemist.  I spent a number of years in the personal care industry developing hair and skin care products for the beauty industry, so “yarn” aka fiber, is a natural progression.  As I get a bit more used to this “blogging” thing I would love to enter into discussions on the physical/chemical properties of the different fibers and stuff.  Anyway…….Onward and Upward…….
